Anete Colacioppo is an actress and interdisciplinary artist who works at the intersection of movement, language and society. She is also a theatre educator and a Feldenkrais teacher. Since 2015, she has directed the Acker Stadt Palast in Berlin, which she co-founded. She combines her many years of artistic practice with a deep foundation in educational and somatic approaches in her work. In Brazil, she studied and worked with Antunes Filho, one of the most influential Latin American theatre directors, particularly from the 1970s to the 1990s. She learned his own acting method in particular, as well as various others such as the Suzuki method and the Actors Studio method (Lee Strasberg). She earned an MA in Theatre Education at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK), where she was introduced to the Feldenkrais Method. She subsequently completed the four-year accredited Feldenkrais training programme. She now teaches Feldenkrais and 'Feldenkrais & Acting'. In theatre and performance, her work focuses on collaborative practices, non-hierarchical organisational structures, and performative explorations of themes such as violence, belonging, and perception.
